Overview #

The “Forgot Password” feature allows users to reset their password if they are unable to log in to their account on the Cliff Store website. This guide explains how to access and use the forgot password functionality.

Accessing the Forgot Password Feature #

There are two ways to access the forgot password feature:

Option 1: Direct Link #

1. Navigate to the forgot password page by visiting the following URL:
   • https://admin.cliff.store/auth/forgot-password
2. You will be directed to the Forgot Password page.

Option 2: Via the Login Page #

1. Go to the login page of the Cliff Store website.
2. Below the login form, locate and click the Forgot Password? link.
3. You will be redirected to the Forgot Password page.

Resetting Your Password #

Once on the Forgot Password page, follow these steps:

1. Enter Your Email Address:
   • Input the email address associated with your Cliff Store account in the provided field.
2. Submit the Request:
   • Click the Submit or Reset Password button.
3. Check Your Email:
   • You will receive an email with a password reset link. This link is typically valid for a limited time (e.g., 24 hours).
4. Follow the Reset Link:
   • Click the link in the email to be directed to a page where you can set a new password.
5. Set a New Password:
   • Enter a new, secure password and confirm it as prompted.
   • Ensure your password meets any specified requirements (e.g., minimum length, special characters).
6. Log In:
   • Once the password is successfully reset, return to the login page and sign in with your new password.

Troubleshooting #

Didn’t Receive the Email?

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Ensure the email address entered is correct.

Reset Link Expired?

• Return to the Forgot Password page and request a new reset link.
